Lucy rolled off the line in Germany in 1979, a classic VW bus built for adventure. She eventually made her way to the United States, spending most of her years soaking up the sun and desert air in New Mexico. Later, she was restored and transformed into a pink beauty in California, ready to cruise the winding roads of Oregon Wine Country. Her journey finally brought her to Florida, where she earned the name Lucy and became a part of our family.
The name Lucy is derived from the Latin word lux, meaning “light.” It’s a fitting name for a bus that seems to brighten every place she visits. With her vintage charm and cheerful pink personality, Lucy brings smiles, laughter, and a sense of adventure wherever the road takes her. She’s more than just a VW bus — she’s a ray of sunshine that brings people together and adds light to every journey.
